The research team led by Professor Martin Green at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Australia) has released the 68th Version of the Solar Cell Efficiency Tables. Maxwell Technologies’ world-record full-area n-HJT cell efficiency of 26.92% has been officially included as the highest figure for its respective technology category. This landmark efficiency was independently certified by the Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin (ISFH) in Germany in January 2026.

Compiled by Professor Martin Green’s team, Solar Cell Efficiency Tables is acknowledged as the most authoritative benchmark across the global solar industry.

This groundbreaking 26.92% efficiency milestone attests to Maxwell’s profound technological expertise and long-term strategic dedication to the HJT domain. Furthermore, this achievement reinforces the Company’s premier standing within the global HJT technology landscape.
Moving ahead, Maxwell will continue prioritizing independent research and technological innovation. Leveraging its industry-leading production equipment for HJT cells, the Company is committed to empowering the global solar industry to pursue higher conversion efficiency and accelerate its transition toward a low-carbon and sustainable future.
